salamou alaykoum!
azul!
hello!
ni hao!
our prophet muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “seeking knowledge is obligatory on every muslim”. this is our workhorse of this life. a noble battle that can only be led by someone who really loves studying and is thirsty for knowledge. anthony robbins also said: “the secret of success is learning how to use pain and pleasure instead of having pain and pleasure use you. if you do that, you're in control of your life. if you don't, life controls you”.
yes this is what i feel now; i feel a pain to be far from my family, my wife, my friends, colleagues and my country (algeria). but i also feel a pleasure to be here in this great country (china) which has allowed me to have a new family and a chance to be the first algerian who participates in this program (international master of public administration impa 2016).to be admitted in tsinghua university is one of the best experiences i have in my life. this is for different reasons:
first of all, tsinghua university is the best university in china, it is also among the thirty best universities in the world. this is a chance for me to improve my skills and knowledge.
second, this university is the meeting of different cultures and civilizations, represented by the students from different continents and countries. this may be an excellent opportunity to know more about these countries and cultures, to build bridges between my country and others.
last but not the least, the life in tsinghua university is very interesting and very rich in terms of rooms, entertainment and facilities, such as sports fields, parks and markets in which give us the feeling that we are at home and help us improve our performance and love what we do.
on behalf of my officials and colleagues in the algerian ministry of interior and local authorities, i extend my deepest thanks to all the officials of tsinghua university and especially those of sppm for this honor that offered me this chance and that surely allows me to be the best.
thanks also for my officials in the algerian ministry of interior and local authorities for their trust in me. i hope that this program allows me to have new tools and new vision about the public administration to give something better to my country in one word, i am very happy and fortunate to have this chance to be in this great university and to be the first algerian here.
my name is chioukh mabrouk, i am a middle manager in the algerian ministry of interior and local authorities, since 2011. i have a bachelor’s degree in finances from the university of mouloud mammeri. i have a diploma from a national school of administration (algeria).
